Common settings in Rackspace webmail
Note: Rackspace email is being phased out for Jezweb clients. If you’d like to move to our current email platform sooner, contact us.
This guide is for clients whose email is still hosted on Rackspace. Log in at apps.rackspace.com and click the Settings icon (gear icon, top right) to reach all the options below.
Change your display name
- Click Settings → General Settings → Display Name.
- Update the name and click Save.
This is the name recipients see in their inbox.
Change your time zone
- Click Settings → General Settings → Language & Date & Time.
- Choose your time zone from the dropdown — select Australia/Sydney (or your closest Australian city).
- Click Save.
If emails are showing the wrong sent/received time, an incorrect time zone is usually the cause.
Add an email signature
- Click Settings → General Settings → Composing Email → Signatures.
- Click Add Signature, give it a name, and type your signature in the text box.
- Tick Set as default signature if you want it to appear automatically on new emails.
- Click Save.
Change your password
- Click on your name or email address at the top right.
- Select Change Password.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice, and click Save.
