Set an out-of-office reply in Rackspace webmail
Note: Rackspace email is being phased out for Jezweb clients. If you’d like to move to our current email platform sooner, contact us.
This guide is for clients whose email is still hosted on Rackspace. To set an out-of-office reply, use Rackspace Webmail at apps.rackspace.com.
The steps

Go to apps.rackspace.com and sign in with your full email address and password.

Click the Settings icon (gear icon, top right of the screen).

Select Incoming Email from the left menu, then click Auto-Reply.

Tick Enable auto-reply.

Enter a Start date and End date for your away period.

Type your out-of-office message in the Reply message box.

Click Save.
Rackspace will automatically send your message to anyone who emails you during the dates you set. Each sender only receives the reply once per day.
Turning it off early
Follow the same steps above, untick Enable auto-reply, and click Save.
